      Connect is a partnership project between Carlisle Eden Mind, Citizens Advice and Cumbria Law Centre. Working with anyone who is experiencing crisis, poverty or hardship and is worried about their mental health and wellbeing.
      A hardship or poverty crisis can include immediate problems such as issues with money, food, gas/electric, clothes, furniture etc. It can also include wider needs such as housing, welfare, benefits and debt.

    • Cumbria Rape Crisis Counselling Service - The Bridgeway

      The Bridgeway is a dedicated service that helps men, women, children and young people in Cumbria who have been raped or sexually assaulted, either recently or in the past.
      They offer a safe and non-judgemental environment that focuses on your needs. They aim to provide you with information about the options available to you and will support you in the decisions that you make.
      Services include emotional and practical support, counselling, immediate health care, and forensic evidence collection. Where they don't provide the services you require at The Bridgeway, we know what other support is available and can help you to access it.

    • Freedom Project West Cumbria

      Provides a confidential helpline and domestic abuse counselling for domestic abuse victims within the boroughs of Copeland & Allerdale in West Cumbria.

    • Hate Incident and Hate Crime reporting

      Hate incident: This is any incident where a person has been targeted because of their race, nationality, religion, disability, gender or age, or because they are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. If you have witnessed or been the victim of a hate incident then please report it. The information will be recorded and used by the Police and partner organisations to provide help and support to the victim, deal with the person(s) responsible and prevent similar incidents happening in the future. All incidents are taken very seriously and treated in the strictest confidence.

      Safety Net Advice and Support Centre is an organisation with our clients at the centre of all that we do. We work with Children, Young People and Adults who have suffered Rape, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Violence in Cumbria.
