    • Connect Carlisle Eden Mind

      Connect is a partnership project between Carlisle Eden Mind, Citizens Advice and Cumbria Law Centre. Working with anyone who is experiencing crisis, poverty or hardship and is worried about their mental health and wellbeing.
      A hardship or poverty crisis can include immediate problems such as issues with money, food, gas/electric, clothes, furniture etc. It can also include wider needs such as housing, welfare, benefits and debt.

    • Creative Wellbeing

      Creative Wellbeing provides sessional activities in a broad range of creative subjects, as a means to enhancing personal wellbeing. Community sessions are free to attend and offer the opportunity to meet people from the adult community in a non judgemental and positively focussed forum.

      Improving wellbeing through creativity. Learn new skills, make new friends and explore your creativity. Join us for a wide range of free creative activities for everyone 16 years and up in a range of venues.

    • Dancing Recall

      The Dancing Recall: Making Connections programme offers people living with dementia dancing sessions and the chance to improve concentration and responsiveness as well as overall mobility, enabling people to express themselves more fully. Uses colour equipment, story and song.

    • Elefriends

      Elefriends is a supportive online community where you can be yourself. We all know what it’s like to struggle sometimes, but now there’s a safe place to listen, share and be heard.

    • Growing Well

      If you are an adult (age 17+) who is experiencing mental health problems, then we may be able to support you. The majority of people who come to us find that being part of Growing Well helps their mental health. We help you to learn how to manage and recover from depression, anxiety and other mental health symptoms.

      We are a working farm, where you can get involved with growing and cooking organic vegetables. This can involve working outside, in our yurts, or in the office. Don’t worry if mobility is an issue, or you are a wheelchair user. We are accessible to everyone.

    • Making Space

      Making Space mental health services provide person-centred support for people living with a range of mental health conditions, whether mild to moderate, complex, challenging or long-term. Services avaiable in cumbria can be found through the search function on their website.

    • Whitehaven Community Trust

      Whitehaven Community Trust is a local charity whose range of projects has continually evolved to meet changing social needs within the community. Services include a Healthy Living Centre, a Pottery, and Supported Accommodation for young people.
